Day 8 - February 21, 2007 Wednesday

Terry and Lynn have received so many cards (some from people we don't even know) and calls from people. Lynn knows that there are people praying for Terry in South Africa, Australia, Switzerland, Germany, and France in addition to all over the states. They received cards (and monetary contributions) from Arlyne's (daughter) work, Bobby's (son) work , and Amanda's (daughter) work. They have received several cards from their old church - Mt Comfort United Methodist and Carmel Walmart - Vera sends a card almost everyday. Terry and Lynn have had several visitors from their church - New Life Christian Fellowship, extended family, and friends. The hospital has also been fielding calls from the media - telling them no comment. Terry hasn't moved much since his back surgery on Friday. We think it might have something to do with all of the trauma he has had and the fact that he isn't used to taking medicine (normally, he doesn't even take something for a headache). Many of the doctors and nurses are VERY impressed with Terry. They can't believe how strong he is. Terry's sister and her husband had to left to go home today.
