Day 53 - April 7, 2007 Saturday

Jimmy (son) is staying with Terry today. While Lynn is checking out nursing homes. The first place was in Shelbyville - it was pretty, classy, and had a friendly and helpful atmosphere. Next they went to Morristown - it was also very nice. The PT/OT rooms we not large but seemed to have all of the necessary equipment (so did the place in Shelbyville). Terry would have to share a room at both of those places but that might be ok at this point. The next two places were in Greenfield and Shelbyville - not impressed with either one of these. They really seemed to be nursing homes in the truest sense. They smelled and the staff didn't seemed to be as good. Just a bad overall impression. Lynn has a few days to think over which one to pick. Tomorrow is Easter Sunday. Today was a fairly normal day for Terry (not much to report since Lynn was out looking for a new place). The hospital has let the family use a conference room to have Easter dinner with Terry.
