Day 32 - March 17, 2007 Saturday

Terry had a much better night. He is still fearful but is getting used to RHI. Around 1 pm, they put him in his wheelchair for the first time. He was terrified, dizzy, and slightly nausea. Then slowly they proceeded to the therapy gym with him. They had him join an upper extremities group. He did fairly well, but was very tired when it was over. After that they went back to his room. His wheelchair was reclined and he fell asleep. Around 3:15 pm, they headed back to therapy. PT was easier that time - the therapist was just stretching and bending his right leg. At 5 pm Terry was put back in his bed. He was in his wheelchair for four hours today.
