Day 30 - March 15, 2007 Thursday

Terry and Lynn slept well through the night. They even managed to take a nap, before hearing the news that Terry was going to RHI today. The orthopedic doctor came by and told them about the break in Terry's arm. The doctor said that it was just above one of the plates they had put in his arm. It appears to have been there from the very beginning but was missed by the initial x-rays. The break would not require any surgery just restrictions on therapy. Lynn and the nurse started packing all of his and her stuff up to go to RHI. The ambulance would be there to pick him up soon. Lynn followed the ambulance in her car. When they got to RHI, Terry was immediately put in his bed and they started collecting information for insurance and hospital purposes. Then they explained about RHI. Their goal is to make Terry safe to come home. They aren't sure when or if he will be in a wheelchair but they will do all they can. The talked about a special wheelchair that he will be able to shower and use the restroom with. Terry was pretty scared that night but Lynn reminded him to think of and pray to God.
