Day 44 - March 29, 2007 Thursday

Warren (grandson) and Jimmy (son) came to the hospital early this morning because Lynn had some things to do at home. She wouldn't be there until after 10 am. Terry was dizzy, nauseous, and had a headache. He just felt blah. PT went ok but he was uncomfortable. Terry has been shifting his own weight while sitting. His therapist is working on his posture and wants him to be more upright (with breaks in between to rest his bottom). She is also working on his trunk strength - which is part of the reason why he can shift better. He is learning and getting stronger. The therapists have also been transferring him in various different positions. Terry's favorite transfer is laying down. His therapist only wants him to have sitting up transfers. The rest of the day was pretty much normal except that Terry wasn't feeling well. He got back in bed after dinner and started feeling okay.
