Day 11 - February 24, 2007 Saturday

Eric (his oldest grandson) was suppose to go back to California today but couldn't due to bad weather in Chicago. He will try again tomorrow. Guy (one of Terry's good friends from the Dairy Queen days) flew into town today to see Terry. Today Terry is still talking and people are starting to be able to understand him more. He was asking for water, beer, and ice cream. He started to get real silly and his breathing became fast and shallow. The hospital staff said he wasn't allowed any visitors for a while. They sedated him to help him get some rest. He fought it for two hours before he finally got to sleep. Even then his breathing was too fast. They decided to not allow any visitors for the rest of the day.
