Day 41 - March 26, 2007 Monday

Terry had PT on his arms from 9 to 10 am today. The therapists are very pleased with his progress. He is stretching his fingers a little farther each day and gaining more endurance, too. After a thirty minute break it was time for transfer practice. Terry is helping with the transfers more and more each day - using his right arm to hold on or balance. He is also using his stomach muscles more. After that they went to lunch and made a few phone calls. At 2:30 pm, Terry had his upper extremities group session. As that session was ending, his visitors started to come. Terry will have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning at 8 am. RHI will provide transportation to get him there. Lynn will follow in her car. The rest of the day went fairly well.
