Day 54 - April 8, 2007 Easter Sunday

Arlyne went to Terry and Lynn's church today. The had a video of Terry talking about his accident. It was pretty special. Mark (pastor) used Terry a lot in his sermon. He mentioned how the Chaplin (who he knew) told him that they did not believe Terry would make it through the day. The Chaplin also told Mark that the neurosurgeon said he never sees this type of back injury.. This is the type the corner sees. It was a very good service. Terry was having a difficult morning. Between pain, tiredness, frustration, and feeling helpless, it was a tough time. Lynn and Terry talked and prayed, listened to Tennessee Ernie, and talked some more. It seemed to help. They both also took a nap. Easter dinner was set to start at 5 pm. Everyone was bringing their assigned food item. There were over thirty people attending (mainly family and a few close friends). It was very crowded but they had a WONDERFUL time.
