Day 38 - March 23, 2007 Friday

Lynn got to the hospital at 7:30 today. The staff was in the process of getting Terry ready for the day. They put him in the wheelchair. He felt very uncomfortable today. He was dizzy and tired all morning and eating breakfast did not help. He went to PT at 9 am (ranging his hand). The therapist didn't think that he looked very good. She asked how he felt - was he hot? dizzy? She took his blood pressure. It was low 90/52. She finished with her therapy and told the next therapist to watch him. Next up was the PT on his arm. He seemed to come through that okay. He had a break at 10 for thirty minutes. When he went back for PT, his blood pressure was still low. So they took him back to his room and put him in bed. They did some PT in his bed. He stayed in bed for the rest of the day. He had PT scheduled at 2:30 pm but did not go because he got his trach taken out instead. After that he did not have any more PT. He spent the rest of the resting and relaxing. His blood pressure was pretty much ok for the rest of the day.
