Day 16 - March 1, 2007 Thursday

Terry had the nurse call Lynn because it was 8:30 and she wasn't there yet. She received some good news that he would be going to a progressive care room (PCU) today. It is very similar to the ICU but with less care. His breathing, oxygen levels, heart rate, and blood pressure are still monitored. Lynn told him that Debbie Knox (channel 8) is still interested in his story. He told Lynn to go ahead and set-up a meeting with her. The doctors told Lynn that Terry will need to possibly have an operation to remove the blood and fluid that is in the chest cavity. He has some drainage tubes in but they can't get it all. He had a CAT scan today. Unfortunately there was a bed in PCU, so Terry did not get moved.
