Day 60 - April 14, 2007 Saturday

After Lynn arrived this morning, they got Terry shaved and ready for a new day in bed. He couldn't get in the wheelchair yet. They did have the right one for him finally but it didn't have a soft enough pad. The pads all felt like concrete, so they tried to get the softest (and best) one they could find. He had lunch in bed, too. Around 1 pm, they brought him a new pad, and he got in his wheelchair. It was a "dead lift", as PT had not okayed sliding board transfers yet. They talked about the possibility of bringing him home. He saw many of the obstacles, but Lynn tried to contradict them. She says she will try and come up with a plan. He did not eat hardly at all today, but did try to drink more. Lynn told him she was concerned about him becoming dehydrated. He said he would work harder at drinking. The rest of the day was okay. Lynn stayed fairly late again tonight (not as far a drive - it takes about 35 minutes).
