Day 29 - March 14, 2007 Wednesday

Today marks the one month anniversary of the accident that changed Terry and Lynn's lives forever. Everyone is amazed by Terry's progress. His chest tubes were taken out today. He said it was like an elephant had gotten off of his chest. The doctor said that after the removal of the tubes a patients progress improves rapidly. They took some chest and pelvic x-rays. OT came and did some massaging of the scar on your arm. When they did the pelvic x-ray, they also took one of his arm. They found another break in his arm. Lynn hopes to find out more about that break. When PT came, Terry did not want to do anything because of the break. They said they would only work on his right side and promised to be very careful. They sat him up on the edge of the bed again. They only did it for about a minute because he was real dizzy again. The rest of the day was normal. Lynn stayed with him through the night again.
